Introduction

The Gallery Carousel widget in Avada is a powerful tool that allows you to display customer reviews with images in a visually engaging format on your online store. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure and customize this widget, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your store’s branding and layout.

Step 1: Start within the Theme Editor

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

2. Click Customize on the right-hand side.

Step 2: Add the Gallery Carousel Widget

1. Navigate to the page where you want to add the Gallery Carousel widget within the Theme Editor.

2. Click Add block > Apps > Gallery Carousel.

Check the results and make sure to save your progress.

Step 3: Access Gallery Carousel Widget Settings

1. Go to Display reviews and click Setup next to Gallery Carousel.

Step 4: Set Up General Settings

1. Enable the Gallery Carousel Widget to display it on the frontend.

1. Choose your desired layout for the widget.

2. General settings: adjust these settings to adjust the display for gallery carousel

• Show navigation button on Desktop to enable navigation buttons.

• Show reviewer name to display the reviewer’s name and country flag (if available).

• Show star rating to display the star ratings.

• Show verified badge to display the verified badge (if available).

• Auto-navigate: Set the cycle time for auto-navigation.

3. Image source: this setting helps you define which review photos to be featured on the gallery carousel

Select the image source for the Gallery Carousel:

• By recent reviews: This default option displays images from the most recent reviews (up to 30).

• Reviews from selected products: Display images from reviews of specific products.

• Click Browse products to search and select products.

Step 5: Advanced Settings

• Customize the widget by entering CSS code in the Customize CSS section to tailor the appearance to your store.

Finally, don't forget to Save your settings.
