Manage reviews
Manage reviews is a where you can oversee all of your reviews and conveniently handle these reviews, from featuring, replying, adding badge to requesting to edit them,... This guide will walk you all.
Page overview
The page is split into 4 areas:
Header — page title, Export reviews and Import reviews buttons.
Tabs — All, Published, Unpublished, Recycle bin.
Toolbar — search, filters, sort.
Reviews table — every review with inline and bulk actions, plus pagination.
1. Search, filter, and sort
Search
Click the search icon in the toolbar to open the search box. You can search by product name or by any text inside the review content.
Filter
After opening the search box, the filter chips appear underneath. You can combine any of them:
Rate — show reviews with a specific star rating.
Status — published / unpublished.
Product — limit to one or more products.
Customer — find reviews left by a specific reviewer.
Source — where the review came from (e.g. AliExpress, Shopee, customer-submitted).
Type — text-only, with photos, with videos, etc.
Date — created within a date range.
Sort
Click the sort icon to change the order of the list:
Sort by: Date · Rating · Review with media
Direction: Newest first or Oldest first
2. Per-review actions
Every row has three quick-action icons plus a more-actions menu (⋯).
Quick actions
Featured review (heart icon) — featured reviews are automatically displayed on the Review carousel and Review sidebar widgets. There is no limit on how many reviews you can feature.
Pin review (pin icon) — pinned reviews are shown at the top of your review box, so customers see them first. Use it to promote your strongest reviews.
Reply (speech-bubble icon) — opens an inline reply box right under the row. Type your response and send. Your reply will be displayed below the original review on your storefront.
More actions menu (⋯)
Request to edit review — sends an email to the reviewer asking them to update their review (for example, to fix a typo or add more detail). See Request to edit reviews.
Add verified badge / Remove verified badge — toggles a small verification tick next to the reviewer's name.
Add to testimonial — copies the review into your Testimonials so you can showcase it as a brand testimonial alongside product reviews.
Delete — moves the review to the Recycle bin (it is not erased permanently).
Publish / Unpublish
Switch a review's status between Published (visible on your storefront) and Unpublished (hidden from customers) by clicking the status pill in the Status column, or use the bulk actions described below.
3. Bulk actions
Tick the checkbox on one or more rows — or use the master checkbox in the table header — and an action bar appears at the top of the table. The bar shows how many reviews are selected, plus a link to select all reviews in this store (so you can act on the whole catalog, not just the current page).
From All / Published / Unpublished tabs
Publish
Unpublish
Mark as verified
Delete selected reviews
From the Recycle bin tab
Restore selected reviews — moves them back to the All tab with their previous status.
Delete selected reviews — removes them permanently. This cannot be undone.
3. Recycle bin
The Recycle bin tab keeps every review you have deleted from the All / Published / Unpublished tabs. Read more.
4. Import reviews
Click Import reviews in the page header to go to the Import reviews page, where you can bring reviews in from different sources such as: AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, an XLSX file, or other review apps' export.
5. Export reviews
Click Export reviews in the page header to open the export dialog.
Choose a format
XLSX — best for editing in Excel / Google Sheets, or for re-importing.
XML (Google Merchant) — for exporting reviews to reimport to Google Merchant Center.
Choose what to export
All reviews — every review in your store.
Selected reviews — only the rows you ticked before opening the dialog.
Reviews with status — Published only, Unpublished only, etc.
Reviews with rating — for example, only 5-star reviews.
Reviews by selected products — only reviews on specific products.
Click Export.
Tips
Use Featured or Pin to put your best reviews front-and-centre on every storefront widget.
Set Sort → Review with media to quickly find reviews with photos or videos when you're curating featured content.
Use Filter → Source to spot imported reviews if you want to clean them up before a campaign.
Need to remove many reviews at once? Tick them, click Delete selected reviews, and use the Recycle bin as a safety net for 15/30 days.
